Angie’s Bakery is our favorite Filipino bakery in the VA Beach area. While the drinks tend to be more subtle in flavor, the pastries are what keep us coming back. Out of everything we've tried, the pepperoni bread is hands down our favorite. Definitely ask if they have any fresh out of the oven—it’s so good. The staff is kind and welcoming, and although seating is limited, it's a cute place to pick up bread.

Delicious pepperoni bread and ube bread. Loved all items from the bakery. Helpful staff. Iced Ube latte was tasty and sweet. Mostly takeout, but one table for eat in plus a microwave to eat up items.

Great Filipino bakery! You can smell the fresh baking as you walk up, and you can even see them baking through the window, which is such a nice touch. They offer a fantastic variety of both sweet and savory items, plus a great selection of drinks. If ube is your thing, this is the place to be—they have everything from ube drinks and cheesecakes to fresh ube bread. The staff is super friendly and gives great recommendations if you aren’t sure what to try. We got the ube ensaymada and the empanadas, and both were delicious. Prices are very very reasonable, ranging from $3 to $10. Highly recommend!"

Norfolk has an impressive range of Filipino restaurants and cafés, and Angie’s Bakery still manages to stand out. On a Sunday morning, the place was alive with a steady flow of the local Filipino community— a reminder that the best food always draws people home. The ube is the star here, and rightfully so. From coffees to pastries, every purple-hued bite was delicious. We grabbed a dozen ube rolls fresh to-go, and they didn’t even make it past the day. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere carried that perfect mix of neighborhood charm and cultural pride. For me, this was more than just a bakery stop— it was a taste of heritage.
